Cast

James Blanshard (Darryl)

James Blanshard was born and bred in Sydney, Australia and is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School's Professional Workshop and Musical Theatre Program. NYC stage credits include: Robert (lead) in "Lemon Meringue Façade"; Larry (lead) in "Closer"; Anthony (lead) in "Just Us Boys"; Steven in "A Special Gift"; and Snug in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Regional credits include "Man of La Mancha" (Fort Salem Theatre), "Sylvia", "Talking Pictures", and "Murder at the Vicarage", all at the Pioneer Playhouse. Television credits include recurring roles on "As the World Turns", "Mystery 8" and "Sabers and Roses". Outside of acting, James enjoys traveling and has been to every continent. He was in Berlin when the Wall came down, Denmark when the Chernobyl cloud came across, and England when Princess Di was killed. He arrived in New York City a week before 9/11.

Brandon Despain (Wayne)

Brandon Despain has been living his dreams in New York City for the past ten years. You have seen him in theater and many independent films. Off-Broadway credits include "The Shadows Behind the Footlights", "The Seagull", "Three Sisters", and "The Grocer's Daughter". Credits in addition to "First Dream" include "The Good Shepard", "Satan's Whip" (Official Selection Terror Film Festival, and Shockerfest International Film Festival), "The Spin", "The Glow of the Warm Acquarium" and "The Scourge of the Vagabond Spectre".

Laura Thies (Woman)

A native of Germany, Laura is a graduate of Stanstead College in Canada. She received a BFA in Musical Theater and an MA in Media Studies, and a second MA in International Affairs, all from the New School. Laura was most recently seen on stage in the Off-Broadway Show "A Temporary Cat", and as the Interviewer (lead) in Silver Light Productions' presentation of "When the World Was Green".

Gerard McHugh (Face)

Born on the island of Manhattan to folks from Ireland, Gerard has been in numerous shorts and industrials. His theatre roles in New York include Prince John from the OOBR Award winning production of "The Lion in Winter", Golaud, "Pelleus and Melisande". Most recently he can be seen in the Gum Groove Film, "Meshuggeneh".
